Implementing Amiya's music tracks and Final playthrough of our game [WEEK 24]
Page inspiration
For our main game page I had a look at some trending games on itch to see how they laid out their pages and what information they included. Below i linked the page that caught my eye the most, i liked their features list and i thought that was a nice way of explaining to our player base what our unique selling point is. I also included some screenshots as itch.io recommended me to do so to increase interest in our game. For the screenshots i selected scenes that showed off some of our characters, more unique scenes, and some scenes with the main character, just enough to give a good feel for our game without giving away the plot.

Adding in the music -

Amiya also sent through her audio files with three files, one for a general ambience, one for more tense moments, and one for the university. I absolutely love what she did with the audio design and i think she followed our sound brief really well. To put her music into our game, i followed this tutorial on the renpy website, using the play music function to loop the track, and using fade ins and fade outs to make the transition between tracks much nicer.

Playthrough -
I also put together a short playthrough of one of the routes within our game, I was going to put this on the Itch.io but i figured this gave away too much of the plot of the game. I think it's interesting to see though and especially placed together with all my other One More Week Devlog videos, its nice to see everything come together.
