Fennec Fox Sprites -

To make these sprites for the fennec fox i decided to take the orthographic drawing Faye made and use it to edit together some different poses, my reasoning for doing this is to ensure the art style stayed consistent with the designs Faye had already made so everything looks cohesive. I did make sure to ask her about if it was ok for me to do this, which she gave me permission to use her drawings however i liked to keep the drawings in theme. Below are the edits i made, which i then drew over to neaten up and fix any anatomical errors that might be present.
And for comparison, here are Faye's original drawings of the fennec fox.

Comparing these two sets of images, i'm really happy with how well they match her original art style, referring back to my previous estimations on how many sprites i could complete, i think i could probably aim to getting 2-3 done as this only took me around 2 hours to do. I think as a baseline i will try to aim for 2 as a minimum [ensuring my other priorities such as the QA explanation, 3 concept pieces and evaluation are done] and if i manage to get more done that will be a bonus.

Animal eyes
I also made some versions of my sprite edits with some more animalistic eyes, i rounded out the sclera a bit and made the pupils smaller, i feel this makes them feel a bit more wild but does somewhat diminish the expressions of the creature.
