Promoting our game [WEEK 21]
Itch.io -
To help promote our game i decided to set up an Itch.io page where we will eventually post our game when it is finished. At the moment the page just talks a little about who we are and what the game is that we are making, i have also included links to our respective social medias to help promote the team members individually. This is our Itch.io page so far.
Instagram -
To help broaden our reach and to get a few more eyes on our project, I also made a new highlight on my Instagram page where i have posted a link to our Itch.io page as well as some concept art for our game to build more interest. Although I don't have very many followers, I think this is better than no promotion at all. I have encouraged the others do do the same on their social medias too just to get as many people interested as possible.
I might also ask my team members to promote our game on other sites such as Bluesky, personally I don't know how Bluesky works but I know it is a quite popular platform and so if any of my team have a Bluesky account it might be worth just putting a link to our Itch.io page on there.
