Introductory Post

About me -

My name is Kenny and I am a second year student on the Confetti Games art course. I enjoy drawing, Worldbuilding, Dungeons and dragons, Sewing, Writing stories and looking after my two cats, Faust and Fable. I mostly enjoy working digitally and making characters for my DnD games that I run for my friends, though I do occasionally make other kinds of art such as sewing plushies and making costumes [Usually of mine and my friend's characters]. 

I chose to study games art as I have had an interest in art and concept art for really as long as I can remember, I would like to one day use my skills to help create a larger project and design all the little details most people overlook. I find the process of worldbuilding and building stories through my designs to be extremely fun and rewarding, and whilst I don't play many games myself I do enjoy watching videos on the lore of videogames I find interesting. I would also maybe like to make art for the Film or TV industry.

I have written a few roleplaying systems for some IP's that I like, and whilst this isn't something I've done professionally it did get noticed by the guy who made the IP i wrote something for [Trevor Roberts the creator of The Mystery Flesh Pit National Park. I have also made some Storyboards for a professional Film company, Triskelle Pictures for an advertisement that will be released later this year [I also got the opportunity along with my friend to play a pretty big role in this advertisement which was very fun, I have no acting experience but it was a super great opportunity to be able to take part in]. I really enjoyed working on these and it was really a shock to me that my art was noticed by people I really look up to. My friend also let me draw the cover art for his books he has written which was very cool and I was very happy to be able to help out.

- Astro Eden [The artist who created the cover art for a musician I like called Vylet Pony]

- My little pony

- The outer wilds [A videogame my friend introduced me to]

- A wide variety of sci fi and horror films

- A lot of themes within SCP
