Capstone Project - Player cards Continued

The next step before finalizing my player boards was creating some artwork to showcase what each of the caves look like. I used the thumbnails I had made as a reference and built up the environment around them depending on the location of each biome. I tried to keep them very simple to fit the cartoony art style of Hotel bunga, The flintstones was a big inspiration when creating these designs, as I tried to combine more modern looking holiday destinations with prehistoric architecture.

As for the colour palletes, I stuck to what I had made for the player boards [which mostly uses colours found elsewhere within the game to make everything feel cohesive], i wanted it to be clear that the artwork correlated to the information on the player boards.

It is to note I did change the backgrounds a bit for the client card area for each card, just because I wasn't content with them all looking the same. I utilized the gradient map tool for most of these, keeping the original artwork but shifting the colour scheme to better fit the environment they reside in.

This concludes the main artwork for my game! I am so happy i managed to get everything done for the time I had allotted for this project, and it even gives me a bit of extra time to hit some of my stretch goals such as the game manual and box art. I am also thinking of making some stretch goals for my stretch goals, making some extra promotional artwork for this project to advertise on my Instagram page. I've been posting progress about this project right from the beginning to hopefully drum up some interest, I'd like to sell a few copies of this game in the future, and so i am hoping making things like this will help. My next goal is to work on making a game manual, then getting the box art done. If i can get this finished by the end of next week or the week after at the latest I will be very pleased and will move onto my promotional drawings!
